Meatballs in tomato sauce


Aliya brand penne - 200 g
Minced meat – 250 g
Onions (medium size) – 2 pcs.
Garlic – 4 cloves
Egg (yolk) – 1 pcs
Tomato paste – 2 teaspoons
Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons
Salt, ground black pepper
Fresh greens (for serving) – 1-2 tablespoons

Cooking instructions:

First of all, prepare the minced meat: place the meat in a deep bowl, add salt and pepper, bread crumbs and finely chop the onion and garlic. Mix everything well with your hands, add the egg and mix again until smooth. Make the meatballs: form 10 balls with wet hands with a diameter of about 4 cm. Place them in the boiling sauce, reduce the heat so that the sauce does not boil too much. The meatballs should be half-dipped in tomato sauce. Cook the meatballs, covered, for 20–25 minutes, turning every 5–7 minutes, until cooked through. Cook Aliya brand pasta, drain the water. Next, place the pasta on a plate and put meatballs on top; might add the grated cheese.
